A warm welcome to students from Thailand
ขอต้อนรับนักศึกษานานาชาติจากประเทศไทยอย่างอบอุ่น!
The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) is a global leader in public health and infectious disease research. With students, staff, and alumni from over 190 countries, we are proud to have a vibrant community of international students who contribute to our academic excellence and global perspective. This page provides specific information for applicants from Thailand, including entry requirements, programmes on offer, and support available to help you thrive at LSHTM.
LSHTM has a long and meaningful relationship with Thailand, built on decades of research collaboration and academic exchange. We work closely with Mahidol University, one of Thailand’s leading research institutions, on a broad range of public health priorities including infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance and the health effects of climate change. Our partnership includes joint research, doctoral training, staff exchanges and co-delivered teaching in areas such as vector-borne diseases and zoonotic malaria.
We also collaborate with national and regional partners including the Ministry of Public Health, the Health Intervention and Technology Assessment Program (HITAP) and Chiang Mai University. These collaborations focus on areas such as vaccine modelling, healthy ageing and resilient health systems. Several LSHTM researchers have received the Prince Mahidol Award for their contributions to global health.
We warmly welcome students from Thailand to join our diverse and dynamic community, and to continue shaping the future of public and global health.
