Practical and career-focused
Our MSc programmes will equip you with a comprehensive knowledge base and a toolkit of practical skills to develop a successful career in public & global health.
In London, formal lectures usually take place in the mornings, and then the smaller practical group sessions held in the afternoon are where you get the chance to apply your theoretical learning to real-world situations. You will often work together with other students to tackle a problem, complete a project or to acquire new skills, with the class tutor acting more as a catalyst than as an instructor.
With the distance learning programmes, most of the key study materials are provided online, via the LSHTM's online Virtual Learning Environment, Moodle. To enhance your studies further, tutor-supported online discussion forums are provided.
All programmes play a key role in responding to the demands of public health professionals, clinicians, policy-makers, academics and laboratory scientists for advanced research training in the national and international medical and public health community.
