Research degree funding and scholarships

We recognise that academic and non-academic experiences enrich both staff and student learning and the LSHTM community as a whole. We encourage scholarship applications from a diverse range of personal and professional progression routes to date. We particularly encourage applications from Black, Asian and Ethnic Minority and first-generation students.

Please be advised that you will need to meet any essential criteria, which can vary depending on the scholarship.

This table is updated as and when new funding is made available. Those looking for funding should review this table on a regular basis.

Please use each advert link and our scholarship online application FAQ page to answer any questions you may have. If you require further assistance, please contact the Scholarships Team in Registry.

UKRI-funded studentships are now open to international applicants. Applicants who wish to apply for one of these is encouraged to read LSHTM's statement before starting their application (from options available in the table).
