About
We are an interdisciplinary group of researchers interested in the health impacts associated with climate variability and climate change. We are at the forefront of evidence generation on the health impacts associated with key climate hazards, the actions needed to protect UK public health, and the opportunities for improving global health of policies aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
We host the NIHR Health Protection Research Unit (HPRU) on Climate Change and Health Security which undertakes research to inform UK public health policy on climate change in collaboration with the UK Health Security Agency, University College London, and the Met Office.
