Research Fellow in Environmental Epidemiology

United Kingdom

Dr Chee Yap Chung is a Research Fellow in Environmental Epidemiology. His research focuses on understanding how environmental exposures (temperature and air pollution) affect health, with an emphasis on generating evidence to inform public health policy and climate adaptation strategies.

Chee Yap holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering and has a background in environmental epidemiology and quantitative modelling. Prior to joining LSHTM, he worked at the University of Birmingham, where he analysed large-scale UK health datasets to investigate the health impacts of climate-related exposures.
