From evidence to action: Advancing research on violence against women
Showcasing research within the Gender Violence and Health Centre on prevention and response to gender-based violence, turning evidence into action to end violence against women
As part of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, the Gender and Violence Health Centre (GVHC) and Maternal, Adolescent, Reproductive & Child Heath (MARCH) Centre at LSHTM invite you to a strategic and forward-looking showcase of research led by our senior academics and their teams.
This event will spotlight high-impact studies shaping policy and practice around the world. Through a series of concise presentations, you’ll gain insight into cutting-edge work on GBV prevention and response, the overlap between violence against women and children, technology-facilitated abuse, and the effects of crises and shocks on GBV.
Following the presentations, a thought-provoking panel discussion will create space for audience questions, reflections, and knowledge exchange.
Join us to learn how GVHC’s research is driving global progress – and to explore the Centre’s vision for future impact, innovation, and collaboration.
