Graduation

Welcome to Graduation 2027!  It is a well-deserved celebration for your hard work and success.  We look forward to meeting you and sharing your joy at the ceremony. Below is further information about the ceremony.

Graduates outside Westminster Central Hall

Date

Graduation 2027 will be held on Thursday 18 March 2027.

Timings will be confirmed in your invitation which you will receive, if eligible, from mid December 2026. There will be a morning and afternoon ceremony split based on faculty and programme, followed by a reception with light refreshments.

This date has been confirmed based on the earliest possible time it can be organised following programme award dates (mid Nov – mid Dec) and for students who may appeal or do resits but still wish to graduate with the cohort they studied with. The date also aims to avoid holiday periods when travel may be more expensive for guests.

Venue

The ceremonies and receptions will be held at Central Hall Westminster.

If you or your guests have any access requirements or questions please contact the graduation team as soon as possible at [email protected].

If you have guests who cannot attend in person, the ceremonies will be broadcast live and a link will be shared in advance.

Attendance and eligibility

If you successfully pass this year you will be eligible to attend the ceremony. Those re-sitting will be eligible to attend subject to successfully completing your programme.

Please note, the award will need to be confirmed by the RD Examinations team before an invitation to the ceremony can be sent. The Registry is required to complete a number of administrative checks against your student record prior to confirming the award. Therefore, it is encouraged that the final submission is made at the earliest opportunity.

If you cannot attend

If you're unable to attend your ceremony and would like to come to another one, please complete the deferral request form and the Graduation team will be in touch with you next year.

The ceremonies will be broadcast live and a link will be shared in advance.
