In the event of infectious disease outbreaks, the deployment of swift, well-coordinated, multi-disciplinary response efforts is vital. Learning as much as possible about threats to global and public health is equally important to improving preparedness and preventing future outbreaks.
At the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, we’re uniquely placed to deliver this important work. However, we cannot do it alone. Please support us in our work to help humanity adapt faster to outbreaks of disease.
With your support, we will:
- Pioneer innovative research that builds global understanding of infectious disease outbreaks, with a focus on adaption, mitigation and prevention
- Train the next generation of leaders in relevant fields; including PhD students, fellows and early career researchers
- Translate research into public policy and impact for communities
