Pilot Trial of Good School Toolkit for secondary schools

Pilot RCT of a complex violence prevention intervention

The Good School Toolkit, developed by Ugandan NGO Raising Voices, reduces violence from school staff to students, and peer violence between students, in Ugandan primary schools. In 2015-16, LSHTM and Raising Voices adapted the Toolkit for use in secondary schools.  Starting in April 2018, we will conduct a pilot randomised controlled trial in Kampala, to test procedures in preparation for a larger trial to evaluate the effectiveness of the secondary schools version of the Toolkit.
