PDC-Baby Ubuntu: Care for children at risk of developmental disability
Evidence from the PDC-Baby Ubuntu cluster randomised trial in Rwanda, evaluating the early intervention programme integrated into government health systems.
Children at risk of developmental disabilities often face substantial barriers to accessing early childhood intervention services. In this webinar, we will present findings from a large cluster randomised trial evaluating the PDC-Baby Ubuntu early intervention programme for children at risk of developmental disabilities and their caregivers, integrated into the government health system in Rwanda. The session will provide findings on core outcomes, such as child participation and family quality of life, as well as provide practical recommendations for scaling the programme.
The trial was conducted in partnership between the Rwanda Biomedical Centre, Partners in Health/Inshuti Mu Buzima, the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and Lifetime Consulting.
