During his tenure as Vice President and Minister of Higher Education, Research Science and Technology, the MRCG at LSHTM maintained strong collaborations with the ministry and the Government of The Gambia.
On behalf of the MRCG at LSHTM, Unit Director Professor Umberto D’Alessandro extends his condolences to the Government of The Gambia and the people of the Republic of The Gambia.
He said: “We are saddened by the sudden passing away of His Excellency, Vice President of the Republic of The Gambia, Alieu Badara Joof. We extend our sincere condolences to his family, the Government of The Gambia, and the people of The Gambia for this loss."
