Pathways to a low-carbon, climate-resilient Africa
Join us for the final Pathfinder Initiative webinar in the series, exploring the health benefits of climate action in African contexts.
The final webinar in the three-part Pathfinder Initiative series on accelerating climate action for health, highlights climate and health action in African contexts. The event will showcase research, tools and locally led initiatives that aim to deliver climate, health, equity, and resilience benefits, as well as identifying opportunities to integrate health into national climate policies.
This session will explore how climate action can align with health and development priorities to accelerate a just transition to a low-carbon, climate resilient future in Africa. It will feature presentations on the recently launched Community of Practice on climate action and health in Africa, findings from an analysis of health in Kenya’s climate change policy documents, and a deep dive into Kenya's national climate and health strategy.
