Miss Blanca Anton

Blanca joined LSHTM as a Research Assistant in November 2022 after completing her MSc in Health and International Development at the London School of Economics. She has a background in health communication and previous work experience with OHCHR, UNICEF, and UNDP.

Teaching

Blanca is a tutor for the courses ‘Design & Analysis of Epidemiological Studies (DANES)’, ‘Statistics for Epidemiology and Population Health (STEPH)’, and the distance learning course ‘Writing and Reviewing Epidemiological Papers’. She is also a deputy module organiser for the course 'Planetary Health in Practice'.

Research

Blanca’s work focuses on the health co-benefits of climate mitigation actions and she is part of the Pathfinder Initiative and the WinWindow research project. She also worked on a project with the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn & Child Health (PMNCH) on climate and health financing.
