Nairobi Student & Alumni Networking Event 2019

Nairobi City View

Join the Nairobi Alumni Chapter for a pre-departure event this September.

Alumni Chapter Pre-departure events provide alumni with the opportunity to network with new and prospective students and share their experiences of studying at the School before new students begin their studies in October.

This event is open to all alumni, new and prospective students, staff and friends of the School. Whilst refreshments will be provided.

Kindly note that this event will take place at the residence of LSHTM alumna Susie Kitchens, who graduated class of 1997 having completed the MSc in Health Promotion. Susie is the Deputy High Commissioner (Chargee d’Affaires) with the British High Commission in Nairobi and also the Permanent Representative to UNEP and UN Habitat.

To attend this event please sign up online by 9 September 2019. For security reasons, only registered persons will be admitted to the residence. Please remember to register your guests as applicable. Whilst, directions can be found here.

The Nairobi Chapter is part of our worldwide network of alumni chapters. Our chapters are made up of volunteers from our alumni and distance learning community. They are involved in a variety of activities, from networking opportunities to social events. Our chapter volunteers are invaluable in assisting their local communities and supporting the School in recruiting top students. Being involved with your local chapter is a great way to meet old classmates and make new contacts.

Feel free to get in the touch with the Alumni Office if you would like to get involved in some way or another.

UPDATE 11/09/2019: Due to an overwhelmingly positive response, we have had to close registrations for this chapter event. Thank you to everyone that has signed up! Whilst, apologies for anybody still looking to register.  Please watch-out for further events from the Nairobi Alumni Chapter in the the future.
