Research interests or career goals
My research interests include tracking infectious diseases, predicting future viral threats, and how this data informs decisions on vaccine rollout and health policy. I also have an interest in how climate change affects the transmission of infectious disease through zoonotic spillover. I intend to pursue a career in data analysis focused on improving public health, working within global health organisations such as the UKHSA or WHO, or within the biotech and pharmaceutical industries.
Why I chose LSHTM/my programme
I chose to study MSc Epidemiology at LSHTM due to the wide variety of modules offered on this course as well as the school's global reputation as a leading public health institute.
