Educational/professional background
I completed my BSc in Public Health at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2020. After graduating, I worked in the NGO sector for a community health education project. I studied the MSc Nutrition for Global Health.
Research interests or career goals
I experienced the SARS and swine flu outbreaks in Hong Kong that had motivated me to work in the public health industry. I am especially interested in the nutritional problems in low- and middle-income countries. I would like to pursue a career in the humanitarian field as a nutritionist.
Why I chose LSHTM/my programme
Pursuing an intensive global health master’s at LSHTM is an excellent opportunity for me to learn from the experts in the field and build a network with other incredible like-minded people. I chose the programme as it is a perfect combination of my interests in global health and nutrition that allows me to develop knowledge of the major global health nutrition problems in resource-limited settings.
