A selection of our collaborative research projects around the world is listed by region below. Africa

We collaborate extensively with Africa across a range of disciplines, themes and countries, with independent research institutions, local and UK government agencies, and large research-intensive universities. 

Asia

Our collaborative work over many years with partners across the region has had a significant impact on the development of Asian leadership and capacity in both research and public health.

Latin America

Our work in Latin America includes particularly strong historical links with Brazil, reinforced by our work on the Zika epidemic.

Europe

We work with many European institutions and collaborators and remain committed to maintaining and strengthening those partnerships in future. 

UK

LSHTM is engaged in research which makes a significant contribution to health in the UK, in areas such as health services and systems, public health, and sexual health.
