I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the Steve Lawn Memorial Prize steering group, The Union, LSHTM TB Centre, and the UCT Desmond Tutu HIV Centre for this incredible honour. Knowing that my efforts resonate with the mission and values upheld by the Stephen Lawn Memorial Prize is both encouraging and immensely inspiring. On a personal note, given Steve's mentorship and outsized role in inspiring and supporting me to pursue this career trajectory, it personally means so much to me to be selected for this award honouring his legacy.”
