London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine

The symposium will bring together researchers from around the world and across all career stages to share ideas, discuss methodological challenges, and reflect on the opportunities offered by administrative data to study the long-term impacts of early-life exposures on child and adolescent health.

The programme will feature invited speakers with expertise in the use of administrative data and the development of large-scale longitudinal cohorts. Presentations will draw on data resources from a range of settings, including the UK, Brazil, Nordic countries, and refugee populations.

Early Career Researchers (ECRs) will also present their work, followed by a dedicated methodological discussion focused on the challenges inherent in longitudinal administrative data research.

The day will conclude with a keynote presentation on causal inference.
