Social protection is an important mechanism for improving financial security and inclusion for people with disabilities. While mainstream programmes can support people with disabilities, disability-targeted schemes are often needed to address disability-related costs. This webinar presents findings from two PENDA evaluations in Lao PDR and Sierra Leone. We will share findings on the impact of a cash+ programme for children with disabilities in Lao PDR, followed by learnings from testing an identification and novel assessment tool in Sierra Leone.
