Equity in AMR Action

The IMPACT AMR Network (impactamr.org) takes a transdisciplinary approach to improving the use of evidence to inform prioritization of efforts to impact antimicrobial resistance

In 2025, the Network’s seminar series invites 2-3 speakers for each event to present their work on a particular theme around prioritisation. This fourth seminar of the series presents ‘Equity in AMR Action’, with speakers sharing work done by experts for the World Health Organisation, the London School of Economics, and the Global Strategy Lab. Presentations and discussions will include:

  1. Victoria Saint, “Integrating equity in national action plans on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR): WHO guidance to complement the people-centred approach”.
  2. Dr Michael Anderson and Dr Emily O’Neill, “An AMR Accountability Index”
  3. Dr Kadia Petricca, “From AMR National Action Plans to Impact: Reflections on Intervention Prioritisation through the Smart Choice Process”.
