Clinical prediction models: a field in crisis
Modern clinical prediction modelling series
Part of a series of three one-hour talks, running over three consecutive Wednesdays. This is the first talk of a short series on modern causal prediction.
About the speaker
Professor Gary Collins is primarily interested in the methodological aspects surrounding the development and validation multivariable prediction (prognostic) models (design and analysis) and he has published extensively in this area. He is particularly interested in the sample size considerations and the role of big data in developing and evaluating prediction models.
