We are living through deeply concerning times, with a rise in religious and racist hate incidents across the UK. I am shocked and horrified by the attack at Heaton Park Synagogue in Manchester on what is the holiest day in the Jewish calendar. I am deeply concerned by the recent rise of far-right violence and attacks on racially minoritised groups. Antisemitism, islamophobia, racism, xenophobia and all forms of hate and intimidation have no place in our society.
LSHTM is a community that stands together, supporting one another, and upholding the values of respect, safety, and inclusion.
