I am a medical doctor with four years of experience in the clinical health sector and an additional three years in health communication and marketing. I have been actively involved in health promotion initiatives with media organisations in my country. Through this work, I recognised the community’s strong need for accurate information on sexual and reproductive health, which motivated me to pursue my master's at LSHTM. I completed my MSc Sexual & Reproductive Health Policy and Programming at LSHTM in 2024.
What I enjoyed most about studying my programme/at LSHTM
I really enjoyed the interactions I had with my cohort, LSHTM staff, and our Programme Directors. Everyone was incredibly supportive, and I learned so much throughout the programme. The best part of the programme for me was meeting people from LMICs who shared a passion for sexual and reproductive health. My cohort included professionals with diverse experiences and perspectives on SRHR issues and their underlying drivers. Learning from them and engaging in discussions on various SRHR topics had a lasting impact on how I approach my work in the field.

Since graduating, I have been involved in SRHR initiatives that build partnerships between the private and public sectors to improve SRHR outcomes. My MSc at LSHTM opened the door for me to join the social impact ecosystem agency where I currently work, giving me the opportunity to engage with private sector partners and show them that participating in social impact initiatives not only benefits communities but is also good for business.
