Educational/professional background
Following my Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from Goa Medical College, I worked as a Physiotherapist in both the public and private sectors. I primarily worked with the Non-Communicable Disease Cell's National Programme for Health Care of Elderly. My work experience has fuelled my curiosity about the field of public health, resulting in me pursuing a MSc Public Health.
Research interests or career goals
By completing my Master's degree in Public Health, I hope to be able to contribute to our goals of Health for All (World Health Organization) and Good Health and Well-Being (Sustainable Development Goals – United Nations). My research and professional interests include Non-communicable Diseases, Health Promotion, Health Services, and Sexual Health.
