Obtained my MBBS at University of Benin and MSc Medical Statistics at LSHTM. Fellow of the West African College of Physicians.
What I enjoyed most about studying my programme/at LSHTM
I particularly enjoyed the practical approach to medical statistics and learning alongside people from different countries and professional backgrounds.
What I have been doing since graduating
Since graduating, I have continued working as a public health physician and researcher at Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital and Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma. I have contributed to research teams planning and conducting clinical trials and observational studies on infectious diseases, including Lassa fever, Marburg virus disease, and Chikungunya.
Alongside my research, I teach public health to medical students and resident doctors, supervise their research, and train them in research methods and data management. I also co-facilitate the Manuscript Writing Hub, supporting medical and dental students and early-career researchers across Africa as they develop their research and scientific writing skills.
