Educational/professional background
I have a BSc in Human Physiology. Over the course of my career, I have supported capacity development, partnership development, prospect research and fundraising for health system strengthening programmes across different African countries. I’ve worked on corporate engagement with pharmaceutical partners, coordinated logistics for high-profile global events, and supported initiatives that connect early-career professionals to public health, biotech and pharma networks.
Research interests or career goals
I’m focused on the path from evidence to access to medicines and vaccines, specifically pricing, reimbursement, regulatory decisions and innovative financing that determine who gets covered and when. I want to compare how those mechanisms play out in LMICs and HICs, and to be able to move comfortably between aid, philanthropy and industry settings.
Why I chose LSHTM/my programme
I wanted the rigorous public-health grounding LSHTM offers and the economic and policy perspective that LSE provides. Together, they felt like the right combo to tackle questions about financing, regulation and access. I also chose the programme because I wanted to be in London: a cultural melting pot where academic debate, industry events and global health convenings happen all the time! Being in London presents an ecosystem that accelerates learning and creates the networks I need to turn ideas into impact.
