I currently serve as the Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Manager at Maluk Timor, where I lead health data systems, staff training, and program alignment with Ministry of Health priorities. I bring over 10 years of experience in public health programs in Timor-Leste, with a focus on malaria control and disease prevention
Research interests or career goals
I’m passionate about health system strengthening, capacity building, and data-driven decision-making. My long-term goal is to support resilient, locally adapted health solutions through research and collaboration
Why I chose LSHTM/my programme
I chose LSHTM for its global reputation in public health and its flexible, rigorous distance learning options. The PGCert in Epidemiology aligns with my goal of contributing to evidence-based policy and program improvement in Timor-Leste.
Extra information
I can share insights on working in low-resource settings. As a new distance learner balancing full-time work and family life—including being a wife and mother—I’m happy to support prospective students considering similar paths. I’m committed to inclusive, supportive learning.
