Educational/professional background
I am an occupational therapist from Hong Kong. I worked in a public hospital and community setting before joining LSHTM, mainly focused on stroke and cognitive rehabilitation.
Research interests or career goals
I am interested in health economics and how we can provide rehabilitation services in a more cost-effective way. I am eager to combine my clinical background as an occupational therapist and the new skills I am learning to make the delivery of rehabilitation better for patients.
Why I chose LSHTM/my programme
MSc Public Health programme offers the flexibility for me to choose the modules I am interested in. Also, LSHTM is one of the leading public health institutions in the world. It is amazing to learn from the leaders of the field and connect with my schoolmates and alumni, who would probably be the future public health leaders, here at the school! Connections are valuable!
