Educational/professional background
I started my academic journey with a BSc at King’s College London. Thereafter, I went on to study an MSc Control of Infectious Diseases at LSHTM.
Post-MSc, I worked as a data manager at the Comprehensive Clinical Trials Unit at University College London for the ASEPTIC trial. So, I have spent quite a lot of time in this city!
Now I am back at the School, undertaking the MRC London Intercollegiate Doctoral training programme.
Research interests or career goals
My main research interests lie within tuberculosis and maternal/child health, but I am also interested in clinical trials and the inclusion of underrepresented groups in trials. I am still very green within the world of epidemiology, so I am still developing and refining my interests!
Why I chose LSHTM/my programme
LSHTM is a great community, welcoming and full of world-class expertise. My programme offers amazing learning opportunities, and the ability to grow professionally.
