Educational/professional background
I graduated from University College Maastricht (2025) with a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts & Sciences, specialising in Social Sciences. My academic focus explored the intersection of human and animal health, politics, and international relations. Alongside my studies, I actively contributed to various NGO and non-profit initiatives, focused on Children’s Rights, refugee awareness, and youth engagement.
Research interests or career goals
My research interests centre on the critical intersection of Global Health and Politics and Systems Thinking, employing an interdisciplinary One Health approach to address complex challenges. I am dedicated to advancing health equity through science application, emphasising effective communication and cross-sectoral collaboration in global health strategy
Why I chose LSHTM/my programme
I chose the MSc One Health for its interdisciplinary approach, delivered through the partnership between LSHTM and RVC, providing tools to tackle challenges across human, animal, and ecosystem health. LSHTM provides great opportunities to broaden my focus and gain new perspectives: for me, that meant becoming an ambassador for the Centre on Climate Change and Planetary Health. The combination of a vibrant international community, interesting lectures, and multiple support services creates a great environment for intellectual growth and networking.
