I studied a BSc in Biomedical Sciences at Newcastle University and carried out a systematic scoping review on COVID-19 related unemployment and health in the UK as my final dissertation project.
Why I chose LSHTM/my programme
I chose to study at LSHTM as I am interested in improving population-level health outcomes and reducing health inequalities. Having the opportunity to study a range of different modules to help provide insight into various fields within public health was a key motivation behind my application. My experience at the School so far has been very positive, where I feel very supported by my peers and professors and find the community to be engaging, diverse and a positive learning environment.
