Educational/professional background
I did a B.A. in International Emergency and Disaster Relief, with a Global Health focus. I am a board member of the AIDS Foundation Potsdam (AIDS-Hilfe Potsdam e.V.), a Board member for the IGGB (Institute for Global Health Berlin), and Junior Ambassador for the USERN (Universal, Scientific, Education and Research Network). At LSHTM, I am a Centre Ambassador for the MARCH Centre (Maternal, Adolescent, Reproductive, & Child Health) and Student Representative for the MSc Epidemiology by Distance Learning Programme.
Research Interest/Career Goals
My research focuses are on sexual, reproductive, and maternal health. I have a particular interest in women’s experiences during pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
Why I chose LSHTM/my programme
During my undergraduate degree, one of my professors recommended I look into studying public health or epidemiology - specifically at LSHTM. He was certain it was the right place for me and wanted me to attend what he considered the best of the best for the subjects. I’m so glad he recommended the School to me!
