Educational/professional background

Before starting at LSHTM, I had just finished my BSc in Biomedical Sciences, where I undertook a research project in my final year on the parasite, Trypanosoma brucei.

What I enjoyed most about studying my programme at LSHTM

I really enjoyed meeting people from around the world with a common interest in global health as well as all the interesting lectures and seminars held at LSHTM which enabled me to expand my knowledge in different areas of global health.

Also, being able to attend the British Society of Immunology conference and the Acid Fast Club was a great opportunity to learn more about current research in immunology and mycobacteria.

What I have been doing since graduating

After graduating from LSHTM, I worked as a Research Assistant at King’s College London researching autoimmune conditions for a year. Currently I am studying for a PhD in immunology at KCL and the Francis Crick institute.
