Interested in youth mental health, would want to be a medical practitioner in the future, probably in paediatrics or psychiatry (not sure yet)
Why I chose LSHTM/my programme
I have always been passionate about mental health advocacy. Participating in humanitarian work in Nepal, Mainland China, while also doing a lot on youth mental health in Hong Kong has made me realise how mental health differs across locations and how it is under-represented in a lot of regions. I am intrigued to learn more about this topic on a global scale, and to be able to learn from such a diverse cohort with everyone from unique backgrounds.
