Student | Part-time | CameroonMSc Sexual & Reproductive Health Policy and Programming
Educational/professional background
I am a nurse with a BSN in Nursing. I look forward to pursuing a second Master's in Public health after obtaining my current Master's. I have worked as a reproductive health activist for over 5 years. I just get motivated by the day to defend the sexual and reproductive rights of all, especially adolescents. I have over years specialised in advocating for safe abortions. I look forward in building my career in this path. I have served as a clinician in hospitals and I currently work with a community-based organisation, Vision In Action Cameroon, as the SRHR lead. I own an organisation of my own work to improve sexual and reproductive health outcomes for all especially menopausal and andropause people.
Research interests or career goals
I intend to pursue my research in understanding how coalitions and networks of organisations can improve health outcomes in areas of interest in SRH.
Why I chose LSHTM/my programme
I chose LSHTM because I wanted to expand my knowledge of public health on a global scale, while also learning how to apply these concepts in any setting I may work in. LSHTM has provided both the classes and an incredibly international cohort, whose diverse insights have been instrumental in shaping my learning.
