I am a full time MSc Public Health student in the General Stream at LSHTM, originally from the United States. My background is in public health research, with experience across diverse areas including pharmacoepidemiology related to diabetes, cancer, and juvenile arthritis, as well as maternal and infant health
Research interests or career goals
My research interests center on improving maternal and immigrant/refugee health access, with a particular focus on equity in healthcare systems and outcomes.
Why I chose LSHTM/my programme
I chose LSHTM because of its strong emphasis on global health, evidence-based practice, and the opportunity to learn within a diverse and international community. The flexibility of the Public Health program allows me to explore a range of topics while tailoring my learning to my specific career goals.
