I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from Fergusson College, India in 2023.
Research interests or career goals
I am very interested in the intersections of statistics, public health, climate change and the environment. Equipped with my MSc Medical Statistics at LSHTM, I hope to work with pharmaceutical companies and clinical trials units to contribute to these areas.
Why I chose LSHTM/my programme
I knew I wanted to use my knowledge of statistics to help solve some real-world problems. I got interested in the field of medical statistics because of the COVID-19 pandemic as it made me realise the importance of statistics in health research. I found out about LSHTM and its high ranking among other global institutes for public health. I also learned about its highly research-oriented faculty and diverse student population and knew that this place would be the right choice for me to pursue my master’s degree.
