Dr Patrick Nguipdop-Djomo
Associate Professor in Epidemiology - UK - PHRST
United Kingdom
I am an epidemiologist dedicated to improving global health through research, outbreak response, and public health innovation. As co-Lead of the Epidemiology Team within the UK Public Health Rapid Support Team (UK-PHRST), a partnership between an LSHTM-lead academic consortium and the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), I work with partners across the world to strengthen readiness for infectious disease threats and generate evidence that informs policy and practice. My research spans outbreak analytics, avian influenza, COVID-19, tuberculosis, vaccine effectiveness, zoonoses and emerging infections. Passionate about building public health capacity, I combine scientific expertise with a commitment to mentoring future leaders and helping translate research into meaningful improvements in health outcomes.
