Online launch: The Digital Determinants of Health Hub
Launch webinar for the Digital Determinants of Health Hub: a Wellcome Trust-funded interdisciplinary initative bringing together epidemiology, behavioural science, psychology, and ethical data science to generate causal evidence on online harms, adopting a public health approach.
Responding to the need for a public health approach to online harms, the Digital Determinants of Health Hub aims to generate causal evidence on how digital environments shape adolescent health, behaviour and health inequalities.
The webinar will cover:
- Introduction to the Digital Determinants of Health Hub
- The need for a public health approach to social media and online harms
- Research priorities identified with policymakers and young people through the James Lind Alliance Priority-Setting framework
- Innovative approaches to studying digital environments and youth health
- Opportunities for collaboration
The webinar is aimed at public health professionals, policymakers and regulators, researchers and academics, policing and safeguarding practitioners, and youth organisations and practitioners. |
