Global launch of Health Policy and Planning’s supplement on the emergence and effectiveness of global health network

Panel discussion on launch of HPP supplement.

This special supplement reports on the emergence and effectiveness of global health networks addressing newborn survival, maternal survival, pneumonia, tuberculosis, tobacco control and alcohol harm. Supplement papers examine why some global health conditions attract greater policy attention and resources than others, despite comparable severity of the health problems. The project, funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, involved 12 investigators from European, North American and South American institutions. The entire supplement will be available online in the coming weeks, but some articles, including the overview paper are already available on the Health Policy and Planning website.

More details to come.
