Climate change is one of the greatest threats to human health, but it also presents major opportunities to improve health through ambitious, well-designed climate action. To accelerate progress, decision-makers need stronger evidence on what works, how interventions can be implemented effectively, and how the impact of actions can be measured and evaluated.

This event will bring together researchers, policymakers, funders, and climate and health advocates to explore key insights from the Pathfinder Initiative. Over the past five years, the Initiative has worked to strengthen the evidence base for climate and health action by synthesising evidence, supporting the evaluation of interventions, and strengthening capacity in research and for evidence-informed decision-making.

Participants will hear about new evidence, practical tools and lessons from the Pathfinder Initiative, including a newly launched living climate and health evidence map that gathers data in real-time, and findings and resources on city-level climate action. 

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in interactive sessions exploring how Pathfinder Initiative resources and findings can be applied in research, policy and practice. These sessions will provide practical guidance, encourage the exchange of experiences, and offer an opportunity to share feedback, identify evidence needs, and explore opportunities for future collaboration.

The event will be held in person, with networking and refreshments included. The event will finish at 13:00, followed by a lunch for in person attendees until 14:00. 

Online participation will also be available.
