Careers in Research – a Cross-Centre Panel Discussion
Hear about Careers in Research from the Vaccine Centre, AMR Centre and CMMID representatives.
What does a career in research look like? Every academic will have a different answer to this question, and answers may vary depending on the day of the week or the status of their most recent grant application.
To provide a flavour of academic life, we will host a panel of researchers from several of the School’s Centres. Panelists will reflect on their career pathways, the highs and lows of academic life, and how research fits with life outside of work. This will be an informal event aimed at students and early-career researchers, with plenty of opportunities for questions from audience members.
