10th annual Agriculture, Nutrition and Health (ANH) Academy week
A series of annual events that bring together the community of researchers, practitioners and policymakers working at the intersection of agriculture, food systems, nutrition, and health.

The Agriculture, Nutrition and Health (ANH) Academy is a global community of interdisciplinary researchers, practitioners, and policymakers working on agriculture and food systems for improved nutrition and health, with over 12,000 members in 160+ countries, over 65% of whom are in Africa or Asia.
ANH Academy will hold its 10th annual ANH Academy Week conference from 16-26 June 2025, online and in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre (JNICC). The ANH Academy Week aims to foster knowledge exchange, innovation and learning around interdisciplinary ANH research.
ANH2025 consists of two interlinked components: Learning Labs - a series of training workshops in interdisciplinary skills and knowledge for agriculture, nutrition and health research and practice & the Research Conference - an abstract-driven symposium featuring oral presentations, poster sessions and keynote speeches, as well as plenary round tables, side events and working group discussions.
The event rotates between African and Asian countries each year to lower barriers to participation. The evolution of this conference into a hybrid format is explored in two peer reviewed papers here and here.
Registration is required for both online and in person participation. Please read the details of registration and sign up to attend.
Speakers
The event features over 180 speakers from over 50 countries, offering a unique opportunity to engage with fellow experts to shape the future of food systems. Hon Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of Tanzania will formally open the research conference on 24 June alongside LSHTM Director Liam Smeeth.
