Funding

A small number of scholarships have become available for candidates from Low- and Middle-Income countries (LMIC).

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be resident in, and a national of, a LMIC (eligible countries)
• Applicants must hold an offer of admission for the course before submitting a scholarship application.

How to apply for a scholarship

Step 1: Apply for the Course

Submit your application for the DTM&H using the LSHTM Applicant Portal.

Step 2: Wait for Your Offer

You must wait until you receive an offer of admission before applying for a scholarship.

Step 3: Submit Your Scholarship Application

Once you hold an offer, email the following documents to [email protected] with the subject line: DTM&H Scholarship Application.

Your application must include:

• A statement of no more than 200 words, clearly stating your eligibility for this award and the difference it would make to your future career
• Contact details for two referees
• A letter of recommendation from one of your referees.

Closing date for scholarship applications

• Friday 5 June 2026.

Decisions will be confirmed within approximately two weeks of the closing date.
