Dr. Axel Jeremias Schmidt is an HIV/STI physician and senior epidemiologist, with affiliations in the UK, Switzerland, and Germany. His main research interests are sexual health, STIs, HIV and hepatitis C in sexual minorities. He currently holds positions as medical director at the German AIDS Federation and as Honorary Assistant Professor at the LSHTM.
