I am a Programme Manager with extensive experience of working with NGOs and in particular the ZAMBART Project based in Lusaka, Zambia, Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) and Desmond Tutu TB Centre (DTTC) at Stellenbosch University. I am responsible for the management of several large multi-centered projects, including: preparing, managing and monitoring program budgets, drafting protocols, advising and coordinating partner reporting, producing financial reports to funders and assisting in the preparation of grant proposals.

I am currently managing the TREATS study (Tuberculosis Reduction through Expanded Anti-retroviral Treatment and Screening) which is a £10.5m project that will examine the effect of ‘testing and treating’ a whole population of sub-Saharan African communities in tackling the disease. The project is part of the European and Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership, (EDCTP2 programme) supported by the European Union.
