Research
My research interests revolve around the application of participatory epidemiology to cardiovascular disease prevention and management. I have led work focused on developing and evaluating an integrated community-based model of care for HIV, diabetes and hypertension. I have also conducted research on diabetes testing, self-management, as well as pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for HIV prevention among young women at elevated risk of infection.
