Dr Christian Holm Hansen

I have a background in mathematics and medical statistics and joined LSHTM in early 2014 after previously working at the University of Edinburgh, including at the Edinburgh Clinical Trials Unit. From 2014 to 2020 I was based in East Africa, first in Tanzania at Mwanza Intervention Trials Unit (MITU), and subsequently at the MRC/UVRI/LSHTM Uganda Unit where I headed the Statistics section. I currently also hold a position with Statens Serum Institut in Copenhagen primarily working on infectious disease epidemiology.

Teaching

At LSHTM I currently teach on the Practical Research Skills module (module number 3462 - slot C1) for which I have been a module organiser since 2016. I currenly also supervise two PhD students registered at LSHTM.
