As Communications Officer, I manage strategic communications for LSHTM's Centre on Climate Change and Planetary Health, and affiliated projects including the Pathfinder Initiative and the Environment and Health Modelling Lab.

I have over four years of experience in science communications from my previous role of Science Communications and Events Manager at the Zoological Society of London (ZSL). In this role, I created opportunities which enabled our science and conservation professionals to share insights that benefit wildlife, people and the environment. I facilitated connections with audiences through a variety of platforms, by organising an annual programme of free, public Science and Conservation Events and academic symposia, managing social media and YouTube channels, and hosting and producing the ZSL Wild Science podcast, alongside other creative forms of science communication.

I have a First Class BSc in Zoology from Cardiff University, during which I carried out long-term research on wild primates in South Africa, and an MSc in Primate Conservation from Oxford Brookes University, for which I was awarded a Distinction. Through both degrees and my time at ZSL I developed my skills in creative science communication, podcast production, public engagement and strategic planning.
